APRIL 5
WELCOME TO THE 10TH EDITION OF THE EUROVISION DIARY!
Lot of things happening now, in every corner of the venue. Well……. less today, since it is Sunday, but still.
Generator guys are running cables, riggers are doing points, lighting techs are rigging lights and prepping trusses, video guys are
playing with all kind of pixels, Visual Act are fixing stage parts, and sound guys are doing……… Oh yeah…… What ARE they doing?????
Beats me. I guess, after reading this, they’ll chase me all over Moscow…….I told you kick bike was a good thing here…………
Our dear Technical Manager Borislav Volodin. He took a well deserved day off, and got a chance to spend some time with his son, Artem Volodin. Of course he showed up at the venue at one point, this show IS in all our minds 24 hours a day.
Kick Bike Mania
Meanwhile, in another part of the venue, Dave Hallett is VERY proud over his t-shirt
While Andy, from Visual Act sneaks into my office for yet another espresso.
So…… Mr Al Gurdon……… If you want these many lights on one truss, you might want to consider asking for a LONGER truss!
¨I also want to be a Bad Boy when I grow up!
So, inspired of the amount of fixtures Al could fit on a truss, Visual Act started to rigg pulleys………
Many many pulleys………………
Our dear riggers taking a break, before the interesting mission of getting the thing up in the air!
HERE WE GO!
Higher!
Higher!!
HIGHER!!!!
DONE!
Someone rented a HUGE pile of scaff…….. I know what is for……. But I won’t tell YOU, until tomorrow!
Finally, if you’re thinking of coming here, do NOT bring your rubber boots!
It IS the law…………
