MAY 18 PART II – EQUIPMENT LIST
Wow! We’re coming to the end of this journey. It’s been a bumpy road, but what a sweet ride. I think I speak for everyone involved that we are exhausted, but extremely pleased with the result of all the blood, sweat and tears that were put into this production.
Congratulations Denmark!

Emmelie de Forest did not cave in under the pressure of being the favorite and delivered a great performance that took her all the way to Number 1. Here on Stage after winning the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. Photo: Sander Hesterman (EBU)

Loreen, winner of Eurovision 2012, did a phenomenal act involving flying performers, including herself as the interval act for the final.

The flying was done by our good friends at Stage One.

Pretty funky!

It was a three song medly that ended with Euphoria, performed on the B-stage, elevated to its maximum height. Markku had rigged 34 snow machines in the roof, so we had PLENTY of snow. It will take the venue 3 years to clean it up. Sorry!

Why? Because Jean-Paul Gaultier was in da house! He designed Petra Mede’s dresses for the show

Sarah Dawn Finer gets a good luck kiss before going on stage to perform ABBA’s “The Winner Takes It All”. Totally awesome! I’m not sure you’ve figured this out yet, but it’s Sarah who is

You may wonder who is on stage…..it’s Denmark behind all that confetti performing after taking the win! Markku (Pyroman) called me and said “I have a bunch of snow left too – should I let it go? and I said, “HELL YEAH!!” Let’s just say everyone had confetti and snow EVERYWHERE…..I still find pieces in the hotel! Thihiiiii

After winning, all the Danish fans in the venue decided to dress as hot dogs. How bizarre.

While the video geeks at FOH decided to dress as……… Bon Jovi?

This scares me!

Even Mr. Spock was in the Eurovision spirit

Hey Joan – America is not in this!!! How many times should I tell you?????

Thanks everyone!
One last update tomorrow and then it’s time to say goodbye to Malmo!
Love you long time!
